Fifteen years ago, The Flavor Experience was born out of a strategic alliance between Flavor & The Menu magazine and BSI Conferences, Inc.—owned and operated by Sharyn and Bruce Iler—with a vision of bringing the foodservice industry’s passion for flavor to life with thought-provoking and trend-forward content and food & beverages. Since its inception, BSI’s Sharyn Iler and team worked closely with Flavor & The Menu’s Publisher/Editor-in-Chief Cathy Nash Holley in curating trend-forward content for The Flavor Experience.

Having transferred ownership in the fall of 2019, The Flavor Experience now enters a new era in the hands of the team overseeing Flavor & The Menu, guided by the same commitment to quality and experience. As president, Holley will oversee the continued growth of the event, ensuring a high-impact experience for both operator attendees and sponsors.

Over the past 15 years, The Flavor Experience has grown from a small event to a renowned conference, becoming an essential resource for foodservice operators looking to stay ahead of the trends and inspired in their food and beverage menu-development efforts.
