We selected the Hyatt Regency Monterey Hotel and Spa for this year’s event based on its location away from crowded urban areas, and for its secluded retreat setting. The resort is set amongst the Monterey pines on 22 sheltered acres just outside downtown Monterey and minutes away from the spectacular Central Coast of California. But more importantly, the property offers a wide variety of outdoor spaces for meals and sessions, so that conference attendees can enjoy the fresh coastal air for nearly the entirety of the event. All of our meal periods are located outdoors, as well as many of our sessions.

With meals and multiple content sessions set in the hotel’s outdoor gathering spaces, it is possible for attendees to get the full benefit of the event without actually setting foot in a conference room.

Additionally, we continue to monitor CDC, state and local guidelines, and modify our event planning in accordance with all recommended regulations. These guidelines currently include indoor mask requirements for all attendees, and non-vaccinated attendees will have a mask mandate outdoors as well. Additionally, there are extra safety checks in place for all staff, working chefs and servers. We encourage attendees to complete their vaccinations prior to attendance. While the spread of new variants is on the rise, the percentage of breakthrough infections among fully vaccinated remains extremely low and the risk of serious complications rare.
