Janet Carver

Director, Global Culinology, Global Product Development & Food Design Team Ingredion Incorporated 

 

Janet Carver is a food and beverage innovator and leader who has been dedicated to the industry for 36 years. She established Ingredion’s Culinology capability in 2003 and leads its global Culinology team, which includes a team of Culinologists working in R&D kitchens in New Jersey, Chicago, Mexico, Brazil, United Kingdom, Germany, Singapore and China. She and her team work closely with customers to drive rapid product development and innovation. Janet has been a member of the Research Chefs Association (RCA) since 1998, having served on its board of directors for seven years (2006-2013). She was elected the first female president of RCA (2010-2012), previously holding offices of vice president and treasurer. She served as a member of the California Polytech Food Science & Nutrition Advisory Council (2022-2025) and has served as a member of the Industry Advisory Board for The Hatchery Chicago, a non-profit F&B incubator dedicated to helping local entrepreneurs build and grow successful businesses.
