Nicole Duncan is the digital managing editor of Flavor & the Menu. Before joining the Flavor team in 2023, she served as editor of FSRmagazine and previously senior editor of QSR. Over her dozen years in foodservice publishing, she has won two FOLIO awards and served as president of the International Foodservice Editorial Council and a juror for the International Food Manufacturers Association’s Gold & Silver Plate Awards. In addition to her restaurant work, she also leads communications for Edible Atlas, a research group at Duke University that uses genomics to study diet at the individual and population levels.
